Acting Funny on the Catalan Stage

Descripción

This volume is the first concentrated attempt to analyse Catalan theatre under the comic lens, including the study of comic form, performative innovations and socio-political function. It includes theatre from several regions where Catalan is spoken and makes a strong case for the contribution Catalan makes to European culture.
